The Suitcase of Light

Photographs from the fairytale film. In an unknown land, a ghostly angelic figure comes across a suitcase filled with lightbulbs. She picks up the suitcase and embarks on a journey. Every so often, she positions a lightbulb in the land. She goes further and further into a desolate and frozen landscape and as she distributes the lightbulbs her suitcase becomes emptier. At the same time, the landscape begins to melt. With the final lightbulb, all the lightbulbs light up. Light and colour flood the land. The final ice melts, water returns and life can once again thrive. The lady’s job is done.
